Dr. Jerry Blumenthal was raised in the Morningside area of Atlanta. He went to college at the University of North Carolina and then returned to Atlanta to attend Emory Medical School.

Dr. Blumenthal currently practices medicine at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. He served on the boards as president for GHA and Ahavath Achim (AA) synagogue and was also the Medical Director of the William Breman Jewish Home from 2000-2005.

He is currently a member of AA synagogue, Or Hadash and Temple Sinai. Dr. Blumenthal has been married to his lovely wife Elaine for 46 years and together they have 4 children, 3 living; each married with two children.
