Suzanne earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Emory University, and then a Masters in Middle Level Math and Science Education from Georgia State University. She decided to become a middle school teacher because she wanted to help students develop the skills they needed to become responsible, organized, confident, and successful high school students.

Suzanne saw that many students, especially girls, lose interest in science and lose confidence in their abilities to understand and apply science concepts and her goal is to change this through the use of problem-based learning and hands-on projects. This will be her 8th year teaching at AJA/GHA, and she us excited to continue to challenge, support, and inspire her students.
