Born in Queens, raised on the suburban streets of Detroit with a stint in Houston, Texas,  Rabbi Frances has been in formal and informal Jewish education for 26 years. He held positions in Richmond, Savannah, Boston and spent the last 20 years at the Berman Hebrew Academy in the Metro D.C. area.

 

Rabbi Frances believes school should not only be a great and safe academic learning experience, but a great and safe overall life experience socially, religiously, spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. Rabbi Frances' outside interests include family, music, media, motorcycling and the Baltimore Orioles.
