A graduate of the Maimonides School and Yeshiva University, Rabbi Houben is the Instructional Team Leader, US Judaic Studies and will be teaching a section of Talmud to our 8th Grade students. He is a creative educator and a collaborative leader. He is passionate about 21st Century Learning, student centered learning with a specific penchant for Project Based Learning and effective technology integration in the classroom. He believes that every student brings a unique voice and perspective to the classroom community as well as a natural curiosity. Rabbi Houben and his wife Lisa have four daughters (and new AJA students) Leah, Zehava, Talya, and Avigail.
