With over twenty years of teaching experience in Lower and Middle School Judaic Studies, Debbie has participated in both the Harvard Graduate School of Education Principal's Center program and YU Lead, a leadership development program through Yeshiva University. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Chemistry, a teacher's license from Neve Yerushalayim, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.
Debbie Bornstein strives to foster a love of learning through pride and accomplishment. She believes in bringing Torah to life through authentic, multi-disciplinary learning and challenging students to think critically when analyzing a text to support their ideas with proofs. Debbie is currently working with the Consortium of Jewish Day Schools to establish benchmarks in chumash study.
